Program Terms and Conditions

1. Program Overview
By enrolling in the Pain Free Birth Doula Mastermind Certification Program ("The Doula Mastermind"), you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.

This is a 13-week, exclusive Mastermind program running from September 14 to December 14, 2025 with weekly live training sessions with Karen Welton and guest speakers, TBD. Participants may apply for certification with Pain Free Birth upon successful completion training materials and assignments.
Guest Speakers, bonus calls, and additional calls are TBD and are subject to change.

The time and date of live calls are subject to change.
2. What’s Included
-Weekly live 60-90 minute training calls with Karen Welton

-Access to Resource Vault for Doulas
- Access to the Pain Free Birth Childbirth Education Curriculum
- Breastfeeding Masterclass video training
- Guest speakers and mastermind sessions (subject to change)
- Doula Certification with Pain Free Birth (upon completion of all requirements)
- One-year access to the Pain Free Birth Membership (Sep 14, 2025–Sep 14, 2026)
- One-year listing in the Pain Free Birth Doula Directory
- Monthly virtual community gatherings
- Access to the Resource Vault with workbooks and templates
- Advanced business training on branding, AI, and marketing
- Access to community in an online platform
3. Time Commitment
Plan for approximately 2–3 hours per week to attend calls, complete assignments, and watch supplemental trainings.
4. Investment and Payment Terms
The full investment for the Doula Mastermind is $2,495.
Payment options include:
- Pay-in-full: $2,495
- Payment Plan: 4 monthly payments of $650
- Extended plans available via Klarna or Affirm
5. Refund Policy
If after attending the first two live training calls, you feel the program is not a fit for you, you may request a full refund by:
Submit a written request to support@painfreebirth.com within 14 days of the program start date (by September 29, 2025). Participant must have attended or viewed the first two training sessions.
No refunds will be granted after September 29, 2025.
Payment plans are not membership fees, but an agreement to pay in full.
6. Certification Requirements
In order to receive certification as a Pain Free Birth Doula, you must:
- Attend live training calls or watch all replays
- Complete all assignments
- Watch all modules in the Childbirth Education Curriculum
- Watch all modules in the Breastfeeding Masterclass
- Publish a website and/or Instagram account for your doula business

Certification is granted for life and does not expire. There are no annual re-certification fees.

Pain Free Birth reserves the right to revoke or deny certification at any time, at their discretion, for any doula who does not follow the Standards of Practice or represent the Pain Free Birth values.
7. Community Conduct and Confidentiality
We expect all students to engage with professionalism, respect, and integrity.
Differences in belief, theology and background should be honored with grace and kindness.
Students agree to maintain confidentiality regarding the discussions and personal sharing that occur within the Doula Mastermind community. Pain Free Birth reserves the right to remove any participant from the program at their discretion.
8. Support and Community Access
You will receive access to the Pain Free Birth Doula Mastermind Community for one year, from September 14, 2025 to September 14, 2026.
Components of the membership may evolve and change at the discretion of Pain Free Birth.
9. Program Changes
Pain Free Birth reserves the right to modify or update the Doula Mastermind structure, curriculum, guest speakers, or bonus content at any time to reflect the evolving needs of students and best practices in the birth field.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, curriculum, call recordings, and materials are the intellectual property of Pain Free Birth and may not be copied, distributed, or shared. This includes—but is not limited to—slides, PDFs, course videos, and any recorded or written materials.
Enrollment in this program does not grant license to teach, replicate, or create derivative childbirth education or doula training programs based on the Pain Free Birth curriculum. You may use the information learned to serve your clients, but not to teach other doulas or reproduce course content for public or paid training without written permission. Violating this clause may result in immediate removal from the program without refund and potential legal action.
11. Limitation of Liability
Pain Free Birth and its instructors, team members, or affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in this program or the application of any techniques or teachings. All content and training materials is provided for educational purposes and is not intended for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pain Free Birth’s total liability arising out of or related to this program shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant for the Doula Mastermind.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the unlikely event of a dispute arising from your participation in this program, you agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication with Pain Free Birth. If a resolution cannot be reached, you agree to submit to binding arbitration in the state of South Carolina, under the laws of the state of South Carolina.
13. Force Majeure
Pain Free Birth shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of the program due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, technical difficulties, illness, or governmental restrictions.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
10. No Guarantees
This program equips students with education and tools for professional growth, but does not guarantee specific business results, client outcomes, birth outcomes, or financial returns. Each student is responsible for her own results, effort, and implementation.
